What is the Report Recalculation Cadence?

The Report Recalculation Cadence feature determines how frequently a report is recalculated based on new impression data. Depending on your plan, you may be able to choose from the following options:

  • End of Campaign – The report is calculated once, at the end of the campaign.

  • Every Monday – The report is recalculated weekly, with metrics up to end of Sunday.

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays – The report is recalculated three times per week.

  • Daily – The report is recalculated every day.

The cadence options you see depends on your organisation’s configuration and billing tier.

How to select the Recalculation Cadence?

The cadence selector is available when creating a new report. To choose your preferred update frequency:

  1. Go to Reports page

  2. Click +New

  3. Locate the Report cadence section (between Report period and Details)

  4. Select your preferred recalculation frequency from the dropdown

The cadence is also shown in the summary panel on the right-hand side and updates immediately when you change your selection.

By default, new reports are set to: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, but you can change the cadence when creating a new report.

Can I Change the Cadence Later?

  • No, you can change the cadence only while the report is still in Draft. Once the report has started processing, the cadence becomes read-only.

  • You will need to create a new Report to change the recalculation cadence.

  • Reports created before this feature was introduced will display Daily as their cadence.

Agency Users

If you are creating reports on behalf of a client:

  • The available cadence options automatically follow the client’s configuration.

  • You cannot select a more frequent recalculation cadence (for example, Daily) if the client’s plan does not include it - even if your agency plan includes it.

New Last Recalculated Column

To improve transparency around data freshness, the Reports page now includes a Last recalculated column. The column displays the timestamp of the most recent successful full recalculation of the report, and helps understand how up-to-date your report data is.

How Cadence Changes Affect Existing Reports

  • Reports will continue to display daily or weekly granularity in charts.
The cadence setting only affects how often recalculation runs in the background.

  • Changes to your organisation’s cadence settings only apply to newly created reports only.

  • Existing reports keep their originally selected cadence, even if your plan doesn't include it.

  • Updating available cadence options does not modify past reports.
